Elderberry Tonic

$18.00

8 oz. tonics come in amber glass bottles with a screw lid

Organic elderberries, ginger, cinnamon, and raw honey

Elderberries contain anthocyanin and vitamin C and B-complex, making them an invaluable antioxidant. Antioxidants reduce and protect from inflammatory damage. Elderberries contain rutin and other flavonoids that help to modulate inflammation.

Elderberries also have anti-viral properties. Studies have shown that they not only kill viruses, but also inhibit their reproduction.

Perhaps what they’re most well known for is how they simultaneously strengthen and stimulate the immune system.

Of note, the berries do have a laxative effect as they contain anthraquinone, which inhibit the absorption of water in the intestines and stimulate muscle contractions.

A lot of store-bought elderberry syrups are able to last in the medicine cabinet for so long because they contain additives and preservatives that are generally regarded as unhealthy. Our Elderberry Tonic does not contain any additives or preservatives (honey itself is a natural preservative, but it does not preserve the other ingredients), so it does need to be stored in the back of your refrigerator upon arrival. Store in the back of your refrigerator between uses.

Take 1 tablespoon daily or as needed to support immune health. Take straight or try pairing with any number of things.
